JUNIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (Berlin)
Job Description :
To expand the server landscape and keep up with the constant rise in traffic, the company is looking for a skilled System Administrator YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure and improve system uptime and response time and scaling
- Work our changes to the infrastructure required by new features and products
- Maintain and improve the monitoring systems
- Optimize the in-house network
Job Requirements :
- Degree in computer science or certificate as network engineer
- At least 1+ years of professional experience in operating web applications
- Professional experience with Linux and solid knowledge of at least one scripting language such as
PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby etc.
Ideally good knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios / Icinga, Munin and other tools) and IPv4 networking
iptables, Traffic Shaping, OpenVPN)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in English
