Infrastructure Specialist
Your role and responsibilities
- You are the contact person for all questions regarding networks and on-premise infrastructure in the 'Infrastructure Services' team
- You design and optimize secure and reliable network architectures with the team and service providers
- In addition, you take over service provider management for IT infrastructure operations, advise on best practices and cost optimization, and question and optimize concepts
- In the context of troubleshooting or, for example, when creating a proof of concept, you are also happy to lend a hand to the systems yourself from time to time
- You will be responsible for the management, control and implementation of small and medium-sized IT projects, defining the project goals and procedures and coordinating these with the responsible parties
- You will also be responsible for comprehensive project tracking with regard to quality, resources, time and costs
- You will support internal customers from the needs analysis onwards, e.g. in connecting locations in the Frankfurt area, connecting partners in Germany and abroad to our systems and enabling remote work for our employees
Your profile
- You have a degree in computer science or a corresponding vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist - system integration, and ideally have 3-5 years of professional experience in the area of networks and IT infrastructure
- You are confident in the environment of IT infrastructures, you are able to analyse problems and to work out suitable solutions
- You have experience in managing small and medium-sized IT projects
- You have excellent time and priority management skills and have the ability to successfully manage several projects at the same time
- Proactive communication with internal and external customers is a matter of course for you
- Excellent German (C1- level) and good English skills complete your profile
