Account Manager (Sales)
Fitch Solutions is on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our European Team, stationed either in our Frankfurt or London locations.
This pivotal sales position involves overseeing the commercial partnerships with Banks, Corporates, Asset Managers, and Insurances mainly within the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) area. The role entails some travel obligations. The successful candidate will be tasked with promoting an array of products and services offered by Fitch Solutions such as : Fitch Credit Ratings, Credit Research, Fundamental Financial Data & Analytics, Country Risk, Industry Research & Geopolitical Risk from BMI and ESG Products from Sustainable Fitch

We’ll Count on You To :
Manage your own book of business : Develop and grow existing client accounts by identifying opportunities to increase spend with cross-sells / upsells, deepen relationships and deliver exceptional value to clientsAchieve and exceed assigned revenue targets by effectively managing your sales pipeline, develop strategic sales plans and implementing tactical initiativesSet up and develop long-lasting client relationships to become a strategic partner to your clients by understanding their workflows and position in the marketBecome a subject matter expert both in the industries you cover and the solutions Fitch has to offer to our clientsGrow the Fitch Solutions business by persuading and negotiating effectively across the territoriesLiaise and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support your client’s needsWhat You Need to Have :
Self-starter with ability to build his / her own pipeline from day oneHighly independent, self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityResilient and adaptable with a positive attitude and a keen desire to learn and growAbility to negotiate as well as articulate product value proposition and competitive advantageExcellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal forms of German and English are essentialWhat Would Make You Stand Out :
Self-motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance.An articulate, personable and energetic self-starter, able to work as part of a virtual team.Basic understanding of the rating agencies environment and some knowledge of the Credit Risk workflow (risk management requirements in strategic decision making, risk identification, risk quantification / quantitative modelling processes, regulatory requirements).First track record in managing client relationships, developing business and growing revenue streams2-3 years’ experience within the broader financial market (e.g. fixed income, risk management), leading to an approachable network in the DACH regionWhy Fitch?
