In this role, you will work closely with Amazons Last Mile transportationbusinesses to plan, scope, and execute financial reviews to assess carrierfinancial performance against expectations. You will be expected to applyfinance and accounting concepts to new and existing business models, clearlyand concisely communicate identified findings to carrier partners, andinternally report review results in a timely and effective manner. You willprovide carriers with consultative support to properly classify expensetransactions to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported amounts. You willalso work collaboratively with the business, legal, finance, tech, and humanresource teams to implement world-class, customer-centric, financial reviewsolutions and process improvements. This position requires the ability to travel periodically. Key job responsibilities - Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data, performing financialanalysis, ad-hoc deep dives, and creating meaningful reports across a varietyof data sources - Demonstrable problem-solving skills using data to drive decisions - Monitor and drive projects through to completion on time - Establish successful partnerships with internal and external teams toexecute tactical initiatives. - Demonstrable excellent communication skills (written and verbal) A day in the life Financial Review Managers engage with Carrier Partners, plan, scope, execute,and report on financial outcomes. The individual provides consultative supportto properly classify expense transactions to ensure completeness and accuracyof reported amounts. Financial Review Managers will also consult withbusiness, legal, and tech teams to implement world-class, customer-centric,financial review solutions and process improvements. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment and, asan individual contributor, will collaborate with colleagues based in variouslocations across our global network. About the team Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) is the voice of risk and compliancefor Amazon’s transportation businesses across 16 regions. We proactivelyidentify and manage risks through risk mitigation strategies and provideassurance that Amazon and our carrier partners comply with the highesttransportation and legal standards (including legislative, regulatory, andcontractual). Anchored by sound subject matter expertise, processes, andgrowing technology solutions, our TRC leaders improve public safety and enablebusiness growth as we work diligently to serve our customers. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field - Experience related to financial audit, advisory, due diligence,controlling, accounting, business processes, or other control and assurancefunctions - Experience in supply chain, logistics, andor transportation - Advanced proficiency in written and verbal German or another Europeanlanguage - Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Excel - Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and externalteams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliancecredentials - Experience handling confidential information - Experience in program or project management - PowerBI and Alteryx knowledge as a plus.
