Information about the position

Were searching for a Senior in-house Legal Counsel to work on litigation matters.

In this position, youll

  • Manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters on regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters and commercial / contractual
  • Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks
  • Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes
  • Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsels in all of our jurisdictions
  • Work closely with business teams (such as Product, PR, Customer Support, and other teams to identify and address relevant legal risks)
  • Build processes with other operational teams (e.g. training, guidelines, etc.) in order to facilitate legal compliance across the company
  • Be the legal POC for the sustainability team

About you

  • Qualification in one bar association
  • A lawyer with 7+ years of experience in a law firm and / or as an in-house counsel in litigation (commercial, platform and consumer-related ideally)
  • Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation
  • Experience dealing with authorities (request for information, etc)
  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
  • Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus
  • The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions
  • Proactivity and attention to detail
