Kuehne+Nagel, a leading global logistics company, is seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Developer to join our Global AI Product Group.

Your Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building cutting-edge applications such as our new generative AI platform and dynamic pricing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the frontend development in the AI product group.
  • Design and develop modern user-friendly frontend applications (e.g. using React).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, backend developers, and product managers.
  • Manage stakeholders in the company, collect requirements, define APIs and perform user researchto understand business problems and workflows.
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, ensure robustness and compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks.
  • Promote best practices in the team and continuously improve our software stack.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development with a strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficient in common JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and their ecosystems (e.g., Axios, Redux, React Router).
  • Experience with data visualization, data management, and database systems.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI / CD.
  • Experiences with backend development and AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, are a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Passion for creating innovative user-centric applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
