A day in a life of a Senior Automation Engineer

• As a Senior Automation Engineer (m / f / d) you will take the lead in designing, developing, and implementing advanced automation and process control systems across multiple production lines, ensuring that they operate efficiently and reliably.
• Furthermore, you will spearhead the integration and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions, transforming our approach to intelligent process control and achieving seamless end-to-end optimization.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring robust IT / OT integration, which enables secure and reliable data exchange between shop floor automation and enterprise systems, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness.
• You will actively integrate and leverage smart sensor technologies (such as MWR, NIR, or similar) for real-time process monitoring and control, contributing significantly to our commitment to operational excellence.
• Also, you will standardize automation architectures and the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Providing invaluable technical support for commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our automation systems is also your responsibility.
