What We Are Looking For :

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic Manager to strengthen our client’s European-based quant team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about developing and validating credit risk models and has a strong background in quantitative analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development and / or validation of IRB (Internal Ratings-Based) models, ensuring adherence to current regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in operational tasks related to credit risk model development, with an emphasis on IRB models, while also contributing to adjacent areas like IFRS 9.
  • Utilize your quantitative expertise to provide innovative solutions to complex problems within tight deadlines.
  • Produce high-quality professional reports in English and either German or Spanish.
  • Collaborate with international teams and travel across Europe as required.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk model development and / or validation, with at least 3 years in a consultancy environment.
  • Deep expertise in operational tasks related to IRB models and a strong understanding of current regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, and other relevant applications, with a proven ability to apply these skills in a professional setting.
  • Fluent in English and German (Spanish would be useful)
  • A quantitative background with strong analytical skills.
