Key Account Manager - Germany East

We are now looking for the right person to fill the opening as Key Account Manager within the East of Germany. This position will be home-office based in East Germany.
The ideal candidate should reside in a reasonable driving distance to the cities of Leipzig and Dresden .

WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
You will be part of a very skilled Middle Europe Sales organization of approximately 95 people in total. Alongside 9 other colleagues you will report directly to manager of the territory North, Torsten Mölders.
The team is covering the German North region in collaboration with other functions from Architect & Engineering, End customer Sales and Sales Engineer.
This is of course, rounded off by a regional Marketing, Training & Distribution Team located in Munich. And we are making the difference together!
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A KAM?
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), it will be your job to head sales within a selected number of focused and developing accounts.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of business plans for these accounts, and it will be your job to set and continuously evaluate annual targets.
You will handle these accounts daily acting as a professional interface between the accounts and Axis. Other responsibilities include :
Inspire our partners
- Actively participate in trade shows, webinars and other promotional activities
- Work closely with the sales team (other Key Account Managers, Account Managers, Inside Sales Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Key Account Managers End Customer) and other roles within your territory to support, inspire and educate Axis partners (Distributors, System Integrators & Resellers)
- Provide the best solutions and ensure a good alignment with our partner eco-system
- Plan and execute local events to inspire and train your customers, with the support of the whole Axis team
Thrive business
- Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts
- Develop your assigned sales region together with the territory team
- Find new customers within and outside the security industry
- Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up KPI's on these
- Prepare sales reports with new and existing projects
Create value
- Visiting your partners to maintain and develop the relationships
- Collaborate with your partners to increase the Axis reach and presence within your territory : Visiting End-Users with the partners and working on marketing activities together with the partners to attract new end-user opportunities
- Work closely together with the system integrators; to develop the project pipeline and close projects
Travel within the territory, region and to Axis’ HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job.

We’d love to hear that you have / are...
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within IT & security
- High technical interest
- Comfortable with solution selling preferable in the security industry
- Experience of account management and developing accounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in German & English languages, written and spoken
- This is a senior role, hence we would love to see min 5 years of relevant experience
Experience from working with an indirect sales-model from a similar role within security is a plus. However, the greatest importance will be attached to your personality, attitude and mindset.
