SCOPE :
The Event Marketing Intern will play a crucial role in the European Marketing team, with a primary focus on supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of the biggest European retail technology trade show, scheduled for February 2025.
This key project will involve working closely with the team from the initial design phase of the booth through to the final execution at the event.
The role will also include supporting smaller events and meetings throughout the year, ensuring all events align with our brand guidelines and corporate objectives.
LOCATION : Neuss, Germany and remote
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : 10% European travel
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Key Project European Retail Trade Show :
- Booth Design and Planning : Work as an integral part of the team from the initial planning stages, contributing to the design and layout of the booth, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and meets strategic goals.
- Logistical Coordination : Assist in coordinating all logistical aspects of the event, including vendor management, equipment setup, and on-site support during the fair.
- Event Execution : Participate in the on-site execution of the event in February 2025, ensuring smooth operations and a successful presentation of our products and services.
- Post-Event Follow-Up : Support post-event activities, including attendee follow-ups, feedback collection, and analysis of event success and Return on Investment (ROI).
Support for Smaller Events :
- Event Planning and Coordination : Assist in organizing smaller trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings across Europe throughout the year.
- Marketing Collateral Creation : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event-related materials such as brochures, banners, and presentations.
- Attendee Management : Handle event registrations, coordinate attendee communications, and manage follow-ups post-event.
- Market Research : Conduct research to identify potential event opportunities and industry trends.
- Metrics Tracking : Support the tracking, analysis, and reporting of event success and ROI.
- Brand Alignment : Ensure that all event elements are consistent with the company’s branding and strategic goals.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR SKILLS AND QUALITIES REQUIRED :
- Education : Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Organizational Skills : Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Creativity and Problem-Solving : A creative mindset with the ability to think on your feet and resolve issues as they arise.
- Experience : Prior experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not mandatory.
- Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team on a national and international level
