Epidemiology Lead

Job Description :

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to develop robust Real World Evidence strategies tailored to assigned products and therapeutic domains.
• Lead the conceptualization, execution, and oversight of epidemiology / RWE studies, ensuring transparent dissemination of findings to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide expert input and review on RWE / epidemiology studies, external publications, critical assessments, and related documentation.
• Cultivate internal collaborative relationships while fostering and maintaining an external network within the industry.
• Prepare epidemiological / RWE sections of regulatory documents accurately and promptly, including submissions, Risk Management Plans (RMPs), breakthrough or orphan designations, and others.
• Offer guidance on epidemiological / RWE methodologies to colleagues across functions and regions.

Requirements :

• Hold an advanced degree (e.g., doctoral degree such as PhD, MD) or master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) in Epidemiology, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medicine, or a related field.
• Demonstrate proficiency as an epidemiologist, adept in designing, executing, and overseeing epidemiological / Real World Evidence studies.
• Possess a substantial background in epidemiology or a related field within pharmaceuticals, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), or similar functions, ideally spanning various stages of development and commercialization.

Possess deep insights into medical, regulatory, and payer systems across one or more global regions.

• Embrace a collaborative, proactive work approach, with the ability to operate autonomously to some extent. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills within interdisciplinary environments.
• Thrive in high-pressure environments, demonstrating dedication to exceptional performance and effectiveness within complex organizational structures.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
