We arelooking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to lead ourPlant Utility department. As the Head of Plant Utility, you will beresponsible for managing a multi-disciplinary project team engagedin high-tech facility projects. Working alongside engineers anddesigners, you will oversee the production of constructiondocuments for various systems, including HVAC wet, plumbing,controls, and more.

Explore your tasks andresponsibilities

  • Establishing anddeveloping the Plant Utility department within Exyte CentralEurope.
  • Collaborating with your team to developconcepts and deliverables in line with contractual requirements,ensuring the highest quality and adherence to health, safety, andenvironmental (HSE) standards. This includes preparingspecifications, data sheets, drawings, functional descriptions, andmaterial take-offs (MTO).
  • Creating a departmentstrategy that aligns with project scopes and identifies therequired skillset of employees.
  • Developing astaffing plan and collaborating with the HR department to recruitthe necessary resources.
  • Performing engineeringtasks related to the design of utilities and HVAC wet systems forhigh-tech facilities, such as cleanrooms, generalmanufacturing / process facilities, and institutionalfacilities.

Show yourexpertise

  • Successful completion ofstudies in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technicaleducation.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professionalexperience in engineering, construction, or commissioning ofBuilding Service Systems. Experience in consulting engineering,preferably in the semiconductor industry, is highlydesirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with theability to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and support thegrowth and development of team members.
  • Fluentin both written and spoken German andEnglish.
  • Willingness to travel to various siteswithin Central Europe.
