Job Title : Qualified Person (QP) – Cannabis Industry

Location : Saabrücken, Germany is preferred, Remote (with travel)

Salary : €80,000 - €100,000 base per year

Type : Full-time

Role Overview :

The Qualified Person (QP) will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and supporting clients in the cannabis industry to establish and maintain robust quality systems. The QP will work closely with clients to conduct audits, implement quality management systems, and provide actionable guidance to meet regulatory requirements. This role requires frequent travel to client sites across Europe and outside Europe, offering a dynamic and impactful career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct GMP audits for clients in the cannabis industry, delivering comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
  • Provide expert guidance on developing and implementing quality management systems (QMS) tailored to each client’s needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure effective communication and understanding of quality and regulatory standards
  • Offer hands-on support to clients on GMP and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with EU-GMP and other relevant regulations
  • Provide solutions to clients on process improvements, quality challenges, and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Work closely with the Head of Quality Assurance and the business development team to align quality strategies with client goals
  • Travel to client sites as required, with an estimated travel commitment of 30-40% of working hours.

Qualifications :

  • A degree in Pharmacy or a related field is required
  • Proven experience as a Qualified Person (QP), ideally within the pharmaceutical or cannabis industry
  • In-depth understanding of EU-GMP guidelines and regulatory compliance
  • Significant experience in conducting GMP audits and offering quality assurance support
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop client-specific solutions
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe and outside Europe for client engagements

    • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Previous experience in the cannabis industry is highly desirable; however, candidates from pharmaceutical or natural product industries are also welcome
  • Proactive and client-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
  • Medical cannabis experience is preferred
