Your role

What you'll be doing

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our epyx / Business Gateway team in Germany. This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy, focusing on creating and closing new business opportunities while also capitalising on upsell opportunities within our existing client base.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fleet and automotive sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Present epyx's software solutions to prospective clients in both German and English.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the automotive industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications :

  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the automotive sector or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its software solutions needs.
  • Exceptional self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
