Senior DevOps Engineer / Linux System Administrator

Your tasks include :

Work in a team : You complement the existing team with your expertise as a DevOps Engineer (m / f / d) and work hand in hand with our developers on scaling our overall systems in a rapidly growing environment.

You will support the monitoring and analysis of the applications

• Take responsibility : You will take over the administration and setup of our servers with the centralized configuration with Saltstack and will significantly support the further development of the DevOps area as well as the implementation of new process structures
• Improve products : You are responsible for setting up, maintaining and expanding servers across the entire rental car sector and implementing backup and monitoring strategies in your daily business
• Implement projects : You will further expand our deployment processes (continuous integration) and take on the adaptation and creation of automations and automatic system configurations (scripting)

Requirements

Practical experience : Professional experience as a system administrator (m / f / d) in the area of Debian Linux and in rollout systems such as Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.

Ideally, initial contact with programming languages such as Python or PHP

• Tech Stack : Good knowledge of using the shell and configuring Nginx, PHP-FPM and MySQL (replication, backup, etc.), basic knowledge of the infrastructure areas of network and routing (firewall, VLAN, routing and much more)
• Digital Mindset : Interested in familiarizing yourself with Elasticsearch and Redis and passion and know-how regarding Docker-based deployment environments desirable
• Drive and Spirit : Strong awareness of quality, impressive hands-on mentality, fun in development, very good communication skills, ability to work in a team and a high level of motivation
• Language skills : Fluent German skills and good English skills
