About our Client

Our client is an innovative company in the logistics industry that specializes in tailor-made solutions for our customers. We are looking for a committed Head of Sales (m / f / d) to drive our growth and identify new business opportunities.

Tasks :

  • Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and trends in the logistics industry.
  • Developing and implementing business strategies to open up new markets and customer segments.
  • Identifying, approaching and acquiring potential new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with decision-makers in the industry, attending trade fairs, conferences and networking events.
  • Creating and presenting tailor-made offers and solutions for customers.
  • Working closely with the sales, marketing and operations departments to optimally meet customer needs.
  • Regular preparation of reports on sales activities, market trends and customer feedback for management.

Requirements :

  • Completed studies in business administration, logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, project management or in a similar position, ideally in the logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the logistics and transport industry and the relevant market trends.
  • Excellent customer acquisition and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market and sales data to identify business opportunities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel to visit customers on site and build business relationships.
