Power Electronics Engineer (german speaker) F/M/X
Job description
We are looking for a Power electronics engineer to join our Team in Berlin. The position involves the design and development of auxiliary converters for railway and bus applications.
Your responsabilities :
- Design of auxiliary converters for railway and bus applications.
- Specification of components and setting technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers.
- Specification, execution, and documentation of a variety of validation tests.
- Participation and support of our production and series testing.
- Creation of the technical documentation required for the project.
- Technical point of contact for our customers, to challenge their requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Support for our service and repair department in analyzing and rectifying faults.
- Support for the technical sales team and participation in the standardization and improvement of our product families.
Your profile :
- You have a good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- You have proven experience in the field of design and application of power electronics, preferably in the areas of auxiliary power or railway technology.
- You enjoy working in an international and interdisciplinary team.
Nice to have :
- Experience in the use of SiC semiconductors.
- A PhD in the field of power electronics would be beneficial.
- German knowledge
