We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the area of software development. Our team develops web applications for the digitalisation of processes in the field of ‘high-voltage storage validation’. We are looking for support in the areas of web development, AWS infrastructure and database systems. You will have the opportunity to take on responsibility in one or more of these areas right from the start, to participate hands-on in the development of the ‘Neue Klasse’ and to develop quickly in a team with experts, a high level of knowledge exchange and an open error culture.

What awaits you?

  • Close collaboration in a small team (
  • Web development with Typescript and the frameworks Angular and Express.js.
  • Software development through the entire stack of our application (full-stack development).
  • Schema design with Postgres-SQL.
  • Writing database queries with SQL and Drizzle-ORM.
  • End-to-end testing with Cypress.
  • Continuous Integration with GitHub Actions.
  • Cloud infrastructure development in AWS with Terraform.

What should you bring along?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in web development technologies, including Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Terraform is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in working with PostgreSQL is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of the English language.
