Role Summary

Bearaby is seeking a copywriter to join our creative team, fluent in both German and English. As part of our expansion strategy outside the US, you will be responsible for crafting copy, that’s aligned with our brand tone of voice, for our German website and align our digital presence with the German audience.

You’ll be crafting playful, eye-catching copy and informative, well-researched content for all Bearaby customer channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write engaging copy in German for a variety of assets, from holistic campaign messaging to product tags
• Work alongside our wider team to help steer a messaging strategy that’s true to our brand and aligns with the German audience.
• Conduct research on industry-related topics and produce original longform content
• Produce high-quality writing consistently and within deadlines
• Regularly update website content such as product FAQs based on queries, SEO keywords, and trends
• Translate our US-based content (on bearaby.com or on other platforms) for suitable audiences in Germany.
• Create engaging responses to customer service queries in line with Bearaby's tone of voice
• Create engaging captions for our social media channels
• Respond to customer queries across multiple channels (e.g. social media, email, chat) based on product understanding

• Comfortable with working in G Suite, monday.com, and Slack

Qualifications

• Exceptional German language skills with impeccable written German (native speaker level) and fluent in English for communication with the wider team and translation needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Journalism, English language, Creative Writing, or Marketing
• Experience in copywriting or content writing is preferred
• A passion for sustainable wellness and restorative rest is a bonus!
