Head of Legal

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE :

Advice to the management and business partners across all jurisdictions in all legal areas, including regulatory aspects, corporate law, antitrust and competition law, employment law, general contract law, litigious matters and our special projects.

In addition, you will be the trusted advisor of all business partners and central functions such as the public affairs team and help shape the regulatory environment and the future of mobility.

You will manage the five members of the legal team in all organisational and legal aspects, including budget responsibility, as well as engage and supervise external legal counsel. The head of legal will report to the general counsel.

Last but by no means least, you will drive efficiency and legal operations, including legal tech.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE :

• German Bar Exam (2. Staatsexamen) with distinction (vollbefriedigend) or equivalent
• 8+ years post qualification, ideally with time spent in international law firm and inhouse
• Able to develop strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong understanding of both the business and the legal fields
• Strong analytical skills and experience in project management
• Proactive, initiative taking, ability to multitask and hands-on mentality
• Flexible and able to cope well with change, thrives under pressure
• Self-starter with high energy and drive, fast-paced and results-driven, forward-thinking
• Fluent in English and German, another European language is a plus
