Job Title : Freelance Solution Architect – Azure Migration

Location : Germany-based / Remote

Rate : €100 / hour

Duration : 3–6 months (extendable)

Start Date : ASAP

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead an Azure migration from a VMware ExTI environment. The role involves defining cloud architecture, planning migration phases, and supporting delivery teams in a complex enterprise setup.

Responsibilities

Assess existing VMware environment and define Azure migration strategy
Design landing zones and migration runbooks
Provide technical leadership throughout the migration process
Conduct stakeholder workshops and ensure architecture compliance
Troubleshoot issues and create detailed technical documentation

Requirements

Strong background in Azure and VMware (ExTI, vSphere)

Experience with Azure Migrate, ASR, and automation (PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, Terraform)

Knowledge of Azure networking, identity, and governance

Fluent in English (German a plus)
