Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time tech-savvy Accounting Manager in Munich to establish internal financial and accounting processes and ensure proper bookkeeping. You will be focused on daily operational tasks as well as other exciting global projects.
Responsiblities
- Responsibility for month-end quarter-end and year-end closing of financial books
- Review documentation and ensure bookkeeping
- Bank reconciliation
- Monthly adjusting journal entries
- AR Aging management
- Financial statement reporting
- Serve as POC for an external accounting firm
- Organize and provide documentation (e.g. invoices tax notices etc.)
- Communicate major accounting or tax positions
- Review all work products (e.g. periodical VAT returns yearly tax filings etc.)
- Treasury responsibilities
- Prepare payments to vendors
- Monitor cash flow
