Accounting Specialist (f/m/d)
Position Summary
In this role, you will play an important role in managing day-to-day accounting operations.
You will be responsible for managing travel & expense settlement in Samsung Semiconductor Europe, as well as supporting the Accounting team with AP invoice booking and payment processing.
Role and Responsibilities
Travel & Expense management
- Responsible for Travel & Expense (T&E) claim management in Samsung Semiconductor Europe.
- Review expense claims and supporting documents submitted by employees to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding expense claims, reimbursement policies, claim status and other queries.
- Provide onboarding and T&E training to new employees on a regular basis.
Accounts payable accounting
- Assist in invoice booking and processing in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in preparation of weekly payment runs.
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting, finance, tax, or an apprenticeship training as an accountant.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task under minimum supervision.
- Proactive team player with ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Fluent in English and German (Korean will be advantageous).
- Good command of SAP and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail.
