Sr. Supply Chain Data Analyst

Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations. With a global team of around 7,500 employees, we develop, produce and distribute in about 100 countries through leading retailers and healthcare providers. Ontex was founded in Belgium in 1979 and is listed on Euronext Brussels.

To reinforce our Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics team we are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Data Analyst.

Job Title : Sr. Supply Chain Data Analyst

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (must be able to work outside of these hours due to the company demands and needs)

Department : Supply Chain

Location : Alpharetta, GA

Reports   To : S&OP Manager

Job Purpose

To Ensure that Ontex's supply chain operates at peak efficiency by leveraging data-driven insights. This position plays a pivotal role in analyzing supply chain metrics, optimizing processes, and driving strategic decisions to improve cost-efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction in line with Ontex's commitment to operational excellence.

  • Scope :  You will analyze large-scale supply chain data across multiple factories / distribution centers, supporting operations that span planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
  • Impact :  Your insights will influence decisions affecting millions of euros in supply chain costs, delivery times, and inventory levels.
  • Reach : The role contributes to Ontex's North America’s operations, impacting our customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Deliverables :

  • Accurate and actionable reports on supply chain performance.
  • Data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Insights supporting inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and supply planning.

    • Main Tasks :

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of potential changes in the supply chain.
  • Provide support for strategic initiatives, such as cost reduction programs.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure data integrity and implement advanced analytics tools.

    Supply chains are dynamic, involving multiple interdependent factors such as fluctuating demand, global logistics, and regulatory constraints. The role requires managing data from diverse systems, ensuring accuracy, and drawing actionable insights from complexity.

    Problem-Solving Approach :

  • Break down complex problems using data-driven methodologies.
  • Employ predictive analytics and scenario modeling to anticipate issues.
  • Use innovative tools (e.g., machine learning and advanced visualizations) to uncover hidden patterns.
  • Collaborate across teams to align solutions with Ontex's strategic objectives.

    • Educational Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in supply chain analytics, logistics, or a similar role.

    • Technical Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g.,  SQL , Python, R, Tableau,  Power BI ,  Excel, SAP ).
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles and metrics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with a results-oriented approach.
