Stellenbeschreibung

As a leading global software product company in the field of Compliance & Automation, IMTF Group develops cutting-edge RegTech solutions with a strong focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Fraud. Our mission is to streamline compliance processes and reduce manual effort through the intelligent use of machine learning and data science – helping our clients stay ahead in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

At IMTF Group, we value innovation, excellence, and continuous learning. We foster a dynamic and collaborative work culture where your ideas are heard, and your contributions make a real difference.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases across our RegTech product suite.
  • Build and extend our automated test coverage, contributing to a long-term shift from manual to automated testing wherever it adds value.
  • Investigate, reproduce, and clearly document defects, working closely with developers to drive them to resolution.
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements across releases.
  • Contribute to QA strategy, tooling choices, and continuous improvement of our testing practices.
  • Partner with product management and engineering throughout the development lifecycle, from refinement to release.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field — alternatively equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar role within software quality assurance or testing.
  • Solid hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Practical knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience creating automated tests for real-world applications.
  • Good understanding of Java-based environments and confidence working within a Java / Gradle / containerized technology stack.
  • Ability to write and analyze SQL queries against relational databases for validation and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Experience testing APIs and backend services in addition to user interface workflows.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex issues and identify root causes.
  • Passion for high-quality test design, including test coverage, edge-case analysis, and maintainable test suites.
  • Familiarity with areas such as CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, security testing, and agile development methodologies.
  • Very good communication skills in both German and English.

Benefits

We'll keep you engaged as you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Make the world safer: Help prevent financial crime and support our customers in creating a safer world
  • Be part of a leading RegTech: Contribute to a well-established, innovative company in Switzerland
  • International exposure: Work with global clients on diverse, challenging projects in a multicultural team
  • Ownership and growth: Take responsibility from day one and develop your skills and career
  • Flexible work environment: Enjoy hybrid work and flexible hours
  • Paid education: Access opportunities for further training to enhance your expertise

At IMTF, we are committed to treating all candidates with respect and equality, regardless of gender, religion, nationality, or any other characteristic. We embrace diversity and inclusion as integral components of our organizational culture, and we welcome candidates from all backgrounds to apply and contribute to our team.
