The RVPSales will be responsible for driving sales growth forthe Salesforce Data Cloud . The Salesforce DataCloud, our flagship innovation, harnesses the power of real-timedata to reimagine the Customer 360, enabling businesses to createawe-inspiring customer interactions at scale. This manager will bea leader of a growing sales organization of Account Executives tohelp drive complex, strategic transactions. Your mission will be to develop a Sales Team distinguished by its supportive and inclusive culture , operational excellence , teamwork , commitment to professional development and consistentperformance .
Setand execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generatestrong annual growth in revenue andbookings.
Set properexpectations, and forecast your businessaccurately.
Manage overallsales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnelmanagement.
Hold yourselfand your team accountable to quota attainment. Meet and exceedpipeline generation and salesgoals.
Establish trustedrelationships with key corporate teams including industrymarketing, product development, field and industry marketing,strategic operations, product management, andrecruiting.
Implement aneffective operating model, and ensure internal processes arefollowed. Drive adoption and utilization of our sales methodologyand our sales and marketing systems andtools.
Align and coordinateproduct, customer success, and services teams to deliver incrediblesuccess for ourcustomers.
Keep abreast ofcompetition, competitive issues, andproducts.
Maintain keycustomer relationships and develop and implement strategies forexpanding Data Cloud's customer base. See around the corner. Definenew processes and programs to increase overall productivity andresults.
Whoyou are...
5+ yearsof experience as a salesmanager.
Consistentoverachievement of quota and revenuegoals.
Proven track recordof building satisfied, loyal, and referenceablecustomers.
Proven successworking within a highly matrixedorganization.
Experienceleading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy andexecution.
Strongoperational and analyticalabilities.
Sales experienceand revenue achievement selling complex software offeringsprimarily at theC-level.
Strong track recordof recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing salesorganization.
Experienceselling modern enterprise cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake,Databricks, Big Query) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau)strongly preferred.
Fluentin English andGerman.
