As a well-established manufacturer and installer of mobile wall systems in the German market, with plans to expand presence across Europe, we are seeking a strategic and operationally focused leader to drive the growth initiatives.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall operational leadership of the business, ensuring the company's growth, profitability, and sustainability. This role will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence in the European market with a strong focus on technical aspects and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to drive business growth and expansion
  • Oversee production operations and implement scalable factory expansion plans
  • Unify leadership and strengthen the workforce by aligning the management team with clear objectives
  • Execute key recruitments to enhance overall company performance
  • Develop and implement structured roadmaps for facility expansion and increased production capacity
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and enforce cost controls to improve financial discipline
  • Safeguard and enhance company profitability through strategic cost optimization
  • Provide regular progress updates and comprehensive monthly reports to key stakeholders
  • Drive business development across Germany and Europe
  • Oversee the integration of new facilities and production capabilities
  • First 90 Days Priorities

  • Align the management team with clear objectives and fast-track key recruitments
  • Develop and implement a structured roadmap for facility expansion to efficiently double the production surface
  • Identify inefficiencies, enforce cost controls, and improve financial discipline to sustain profitability
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management, business, engineering, or a related field
  • Significant experience in general or operational management within Germany, particularly East Germany
  • Proven experience in technical leadership and management roles
  • In-depth knowledge of the mobile wall industry or building sector (finishing works in construction)
  • Deep commercial, sales, and technical expertise in the industry
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, and communication skills with a strong technical and sales focus
  • Fluency in German and English (proficiency in French is advantageous)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in international business
  • Experience in managing external distributors
  • Knowledge of the European market in the building sector

  • Demonstrated growth in net result and EBIT
  • Successful implementation of cost reduction and optimization initiatives

  • Base salary : Approximately €90,000
