Statkraft trades energy products in more than 20 countries and is active on 13 energy exchanges. Proprietary trading takes place mainly from trading rooms in Oslo Dsseldorf London and the Unites States. Our Trading teams engage in standardised and customised contracts for power gas and oil.

Job Description

Your internship will be in the centre of the frontoffice activities and you will be given responsibility from day one. Over the course of your internship you will become familiar with many aspects of the trading business. Our interns and working students are highly valuable members of our teams and you will actively contribute to the further development and growth of Statkraft Markets.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to the following :

• Supporting the Trading Business Support team with the creation and maintenance of the departments roadmap.
• Define structure and document processes.
• Monitoring analysing and reporting on department costs.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to grow and streamline the trading departments business activities.
• Supporting the Trading Business Support team with daytoday activities.
• Building relationships within the trading department and beyond.
