AMDT is actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams. We are looking for a motivated, engaging, and well-rounded individual who will be responsible for managing both inbound and external leads for the sales team.
Your Tasks
- Lead Management - Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing, in addition to outbound prospecting focused on the Manufacturing industry
- Customer Engagement - Contact prospective customers in the assigned area to determine their needs and degree of interest in the company's products and services
- Sales Demonstration - Schedule or conduct web sales demonstrations and maintain detailed notes in the lead tracking system. Ensure resources are available for effective demos when needed
- Product and Competitior Knowledge - Be knowledgeable about the company's products and services, as well as the activities of competitors
- Customer Relationship Management - Maintain positive customer relationships to maximize product / service satisfaction, obtain new sales, and strengthen existing relationships
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with the rest of the sales team and other departments such as marketing, customer service, and sales support
