Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As an Jr. Product / Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the initiative pipeline for Campingaz BBQ lines in the EMEA region. You will lead a multi-functional project team, focusing on new product development and commercial initiatives . Your key stakeholders will include R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and EMEA market representatives.
You will be part of a small team of two people, within a larger Marketing group in Germany.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities :
Contribute to the Initiative Pipeline : Identify and exploit market opportunities in the EMEA region, generate consumer and customer insights, and build convincing business plans.
Execute the Initiative Pipeline : Navigate initiatives through the regional stage gate process, build strong launch plans, and ensure clear messaging on consumer benefits.
Grow BBQ Sales and Profitability : Ensure pricing and profitability targets are met, lead projects to grow the category, and collaborate closely with manufacturing and key markets.
Initiate Creation of Communication Material : Work with the Brand & Communication department and local markets, create briefings for photo and video shoots, cooperate with agencies and develop POS material.Lead the Packaging development and inputs to the creation of websites and catalogues.
Collaborate with EMEA Markets : Act as the “owner” and “face” of the category and participate in selected customer meetings.
What You’ll Need
Minimum :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing (MBA or equivalent is a plus)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in BBQ and / or Outdoor Cooking Business or similar technical consumer products
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Willing to travel internationally (approx. 10% of the time)
Your Advantage :
Experience in Trade Marketing, Communication, or Sales
International experience or interaction with different cultures
Solid technical understanding or interest in technical products
Strong communication skills and an ability to work with cross-functional and diverse teams
Knowledge of German, French, and / or Italian
Passion for grilling and barbecuing
