• Setup of Linux servers with Proxmox and Kubernetes on baremetal hardware.
• Installation and configuration of the 4G / 5G packet core network management systems network switches and connected radio access network.
• Testing the network end to end with end devices and integration with applications.
• Discussion of technical solutions with customers.
• Customer support and contact person until the networks are handed over to operation.
• Support onsite the implementation of the 5G private networks.
• Adaptation of solutions concepts according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with product development team to continuously improve the product.
• Take part in support and operations of the customers 5G private networks and internal 5G Lab.
• Take part of the OnCall service rotation for providing support 24 / 7.
• Strong experience in Linux operating system.
• Solid work experience in networking technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex networks.
• Solid work experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong work experience with virtualization technologies.
• Availability to travel to customer premises primarily within Germany but also abroad.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
• Experience with Proxmox.
• Good understanding of layer 2 and 3 networking.
• Knowledge in mobile networks such as 4G and 5G.
• Previous experience in network support and operations roles.
• ITIL Knowledge.
• Work from the COCUS Office in Dsseldorf a minimum of 3 days a week.
