We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for a talented Community Manager to join our team for the award-winning art and pop culture magazine “boredpanda.com”. Every day, hundreds of artists and creators upload tons of photos and artwork to our website. Unfortunately, the stories they submit don’t always look the way our readers want to see them. We’re looking for someone who could manage these stories and help the artists become more popular.
Responsibilities :
- Communicate with community members, answer questions via email, and moderate submissions;
- Review, proofread, and improve user-submitted stories;
- Fix grammar, structure, clarity, and flow in community posts;
- Research competitor headlines and identify viral angles when needed;
- Write strong, engaging titles for different content types;
- Arrange images in the most engaging order and select the best visuals (depending on post type);
- Create eye-catching cover images for Facebook and social media;
- Categorize posts based on their potential;
- Help with A / B testing for titles and FB image variations;
- Maintain the quality of the community section by banning spam accounts and reviewing Ask Pandas, Challenges, and lower-priority posts;
- Search for new artists and creators to feature on Bored Panda.
