Discover the Role

We are looking for Senior Tax Compliance Officer ( CIT) to join our Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients and internal business units regarding corporate direct tax compliance matters and regulations;
  • Coach and train Junior tax officers;
  • Review of deliverables (various tax compliance obligations) prepared by Junior Tax Officers concerning direct tax matters;
  • Assist Tax Manager with technical researches and implementation of different tax compliance strategies;
  • Assist Tax Manager with tax technical trainings for accounting and legal teams;
  • Attend client meetings & calls when assistance is required for specific direct tax compliance matters;
  • Support Tax Manager and Tax Director in all the actual and new specific Tax Department initiatives.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or University degree) in accounting, finance or tax;
  • Good understanding of accounting and legal environment is necessary;
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German, French or Luxembourgish would be an advantage;
  • Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) are necessary;
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Luxembourg tax compliance, preferably in an accounting or tax advisory firm with international environment;
  • Luxembourg complementary tax exams or “Expert Comptable” title would be an asset;
  • You are analytical, eager to learn and motivated by challenge;
  • You demonstrate extraordinary commitment to provide excellent service, self-initiative and team spirit;
  • You have good organization skills.
