FABRIC SOURCING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (M/W/D)
This role requires a deep understanding of luxury textiles, strong supplier relations – particularly with Italian mills – and a passion for sustainable innovation.
In this role, you will take on the following key responsibilities:
Source and develop premium fabrics with a focus on Italian mills
Manage the full fabric development cycle from sampling to production approval and bulk compliance
Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and design team to translate concepts into high-quality fabrics
Ensure supplier compliance with quality and sustainability standards
Maintain and organize the fabric library and digital database
Provide technical input to product development and production teams
Monitor fabric budgets and timelines to ensure timely collection delivery
Embed sustainability principles in all sourcing and development activities
You should bring the following qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years ‘experience in fabric sourcing and development within luxury or premium fashion
Deep knowledge of fabric construction, finishing, and textile innovations
Established supplier network across major luxury fabric markets
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proactive and solution-oriented team player
Experience in sustainable sourcing practices is a strong asset
