To strengthen our Portfolio Management department in the Sugar Beet Business Unit, we are looking for a structured Manager Commercial Seed Purity for KWS Saat SE & Co. KGaA at our location in Einbeck , Lower Saxony . As a manager (m / f / d) , you will be responsible for the biological / genetic quality control (purity) of our commercial seeds. This exciting position is full-time , permanent , and to be filled as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for :

• Ensuring the quality of genetic / biological purity of commercial seeds (e.g., resistances, bolters, cross-pollinations)
• Coordinating laboratory analyses, greenhouse and field tests, as well as processing and evaluating results (data management)
• Handling quality issues throughout the entire process chain from basic to commercial seeds
• Contributing to the development of an overarching quality management system
• Further developing testing criteria and thresholds for seed purity
• Developing efficient quality management tools in collaboration with the quality management for basic seeds and IT
• Providing information for production, portfolio management, and sales
• Taking over project responsibility
• Completed studies in agricultural sciences, biology, or a comparable natural science qualification, preferably with a focus on breeding
• High initiative and self-organization skills
• Very structured, precise, and goal-oriented working style
• Ability to analyze complex quality data and prepare it for the target audience
• Curiosity and willingness to change
• High level of communication skills with various stakeholder and interfaces
• Strong IT affinity, especially with spreadsheets and databases
• Proficiency in MS Office products, SAP is desirable
• Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken
• Experience in plant breeding, laboratory work, and / or quality assurance is an advantage
