The Opportunity You have the chance to join us as a founding member of our tech team, actively shaping and building our technology base from the ground up. You'll build a platform that transforms tax technology, enabling tax advisors and fintechs to offer and create their own tax tools—without needing extensive software development expertise [and potentially by utilizing LLMs to digitize tax law ;) ]. Tasks Your Responsibilities Take end-to-end ownership building critical parts of our emerging technology from the ground up Collaborate closely with the CTO to execute the product roadmap Delivering new features, and highest quality code at god-speed, ensuring timely and high-quality releases. Contribute to our strong, high-performance and collaborative engineering culture as the team grows. Requirements Experience We’re Looking For Strong technical background with 5+ years of full-time engineering experience, preferably across the following tech stack : Frontend Development : Strong proficiency in React, Next.js , and TypeScript . Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand) and modern styling (TailwindCSS, Styled Components). Backend Development : Solid experience with Nest.js (or Express.js ) and designing scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs . Strong knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth2) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, WebSockets). Database Management : Expertise in PostgreSQL , schema design, query optimization, and ORMs like Prisma. Cloud Infrastructure (Nice to Have) : Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Functions), CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Docker , and Kubernetes .
