Axway is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who is specialized in MFT. The Senior Project Manager will demonstrate a good level of technical expertise on MFT products and managed file transfer tools. He will have a proven track record of engaging with customers and helping them successfully implementing such products as a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

· Manages the delivery of OnPrem and Cloud services to achieve high customer satisfaction and trust

· Ensure that Axway’s MFT technology is successfully deployed in line with the defined architecture

· Overall customer management and facilitation

· Effectively communicate technical issues in a non-technical manner to customers, stakeholders, and other business leaders

· Presents operational and service level reports and explains service level support available to internal or external customers

· Manages and properly sets customer expectations

· Interact with customers to ensure the Service Management and Delivery goals and objectives are clear, and ensure that these delivery expectations are met

· Collaborates with team members to ensure consistency of delivery, adherence to standard practices, and continuous improvement

· Coordinate and dispatch project activity within the team, with customer stakeholders, and with Axway partners

· Accountable for the end-to-end delivery performance in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and customer satisfaction of his customer engagements

· Oversee implementation of new Cloud, OnPrem customers and ongoing service of existing customers

· Oversee customer change requests and escalations

· Develop and share with customer service metrics

· Support the billing of the customer

· Support the forecast process

· Elaborate the budget of his customer portfolio and make sure of the profitability of the projects and contracts

Key Competencies:

· Very Strong planning and coordination skills

· Proven track record in project management

· Good technical aptitude and a creative drive to solve project- and technical issues

· Professional presentation skills; cooperative attitude; and a team player

· Ability and willingness to travel from time to time, inner German and abroad

· Skilled in communication with customer’s key decision makers

· Experienced in matching customer requirements to a given solution and implementing them on the solution

· Experience in Cloud or Managed or Hosting service delivery

· In-depth understanding of customer requirements around IT operations

· In depth knowledge of Axway solutions and products (to be trained at Axway)

· Knowledge of Axway organization (to be trained at Axway)

· Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with a high level of attention to detail

· Problem solving skills: problem definition, problem solving, measurement

· Good documentation and reporting skills

· Comprehensive understanding of ITIL practices

· Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings and communicate complex concepts

· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills

· Service Management Tool, e.g. Service Now

· Basic financial (e.g. Profit and Loss Account)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in the IT industry

· 3 years of Experience in working with MFT, Networking, Security, Middleware or B2B solutions

· Excellent communications skills, fluent English C1 and German C1

· Exposure to relevant technology covering one or more of the following: File Transfer solutions; Web services/SOA; service repository and registry management product

Technical knowledge:

· Understanding of operating systems Unix/Linux/Windows, z/OS is a plus

· Networking, Databases (Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL)

· Protocols: SFTP, FTP/S, HTTP/S, PeSIT, LDAP and other MFT protocols

· Experience with Axway MFT products CFT, Central Governance, or Secure Transport is a significant plus
