As a Technical Delivery Manager at AKQA, your role involves collaboration with Project Management, Creative, and UX teams while leading a Development Team based in our Gurgaon studio to ensure the flawless tech delivery, development, deployment and maintenance of innovative solutions.

An eye for premium craft, effective communication and openness to diverse ideas will be key as you tackle new challenges and strive for continuous improvement in our work for luxury clients based in Switzerland, Italy and Germany.

Our assignments require a technologist with a comprehensive skill set in project management, Scrum, and product ownership.

Your experience with Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Experience Cloud applications is essential.

You'll work with a team of diverse and talented professionals passionate about design, technology and innovation this position offers opportunities for growth and learning in a progressive, meritocratic culture.

The position allows for location flexibility within Germany, with travel to our Berlin studio and client offices across the DACH region when necessary.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the #1 technical contact and partner for our clients.
• Work with Strategy, UX, UI, and Development team to provide the best answer to client briefs.
• Provide technical solutions in line with our client’s problems.
• Help scope a project with the Project team.
• Manages team across multiple offices.
• Act as Agile Scrum Master and manage a team of developers during sprints of development.
• Define Technical Architecture in collaboration with the Technology Team.
• Create a backlog of features for a product.
• Deliver high-quality technical projects on time and to budget.
• Research and assess the best solution on the MarTech landscape to answer client needs.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

• Proven expertise in delivering Adobe platform solutions, with substantial experience in implementing Adobe Experience Cloud products within a client-focused environment.
• Have Technical knowledge of (mastery not required) :
• Cloud hosting providers such as AWS, Azure OR serverless platforms such as Netlify
• CI / CD
• RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• HTML, CSS, and Javascript frameworks such as React and Vue
• Headless CMS such as Contentful
• SaaS products integration
• Jira, Confluence
• Understanding of Automation and Quality assurance practices
• A background in engineering or development.
• Experience in collaborating and managing near- and off-shore teams.
• Professional fluency in both German and English. This includes the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a professional business context.
• Ability to gather requirements and break them down into the technical tasks required to complete a project phase.
• Capability of planning delivery in iterative sprints, inclusive of quality assurance sign-off in a platform-agnostic environment.
• Ability to decide the project's required resource profile and provide top-down and bottom-up estimates against a scope.
• Contribute to the ideation process and proactively propose technical solutions to needs that other disciplines may not know.
• Sharp attention to detail and a passion for new technology.
• Ability to travel across the DACH region.
