Job Description
The Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics is seeking motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our dynamic team in Halle (Saale), Germany. This is a full-time position dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research in the field of microstructure physics. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be immersed in a vibrant scientific community, contributing to groundbreaking projects and expanding your academic horizons. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting independent research.
- Designing and executing experiments to explore microstructural phenomena.
- Analyzing data and interpreting results to contribute to scientific publications.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate findings into broader research contexts.
- Presenting research findings at conferences and seminars.
- Participating in academic courses and workshops to enhance your research skills.
Required Profile
We are looking for highly motivated postdocs with a passion for research and a strong academic background. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent, e.g. 4-year Bachelor’s degree) and a PhD degree in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with experimental techniques and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
