Stellenbeschreibung

To strengthen our team in Hilchenbach, we are looking for a part-time or full-time

YOU ACT

As a Level 1 PLC Software Developer in a strong team, you help shape the logistics of tomorrow and develop intelligent software to control complex intralogistics processes in the metal industry and port logistics. Your responsibilities also include:

  • High-tech meets heavy loads: Control and monitor large systems such as cranes, conveyor technology, and vehicles that move loads of up to 50 tons—precisely, efficiently, and in real time.
  • From creating solutions to commissioning: Design interfaces, collaborate closely with customers, and support projects worldwide—from the first alignment to onsite final acceptance test.
  • International & communicative: Work on global projects with English in your day-to-day work and experience exciting customer locations around the globe.
  • Virtual worlds & smart testing: Develop and test software with digital twins, simulators, and visualizations—everything within a powerful in-house testing environment.
  • Stable environment with a strong team: Benefit from an excellent team spirit, long-term employee retention, and minimal turnover—you’ll enjoy staying here for the long term.

YOU KNOW

You have a completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable field of study or job experience and further training as technician.
We also value:

  • Preferably experience in S7-TIA software development
  • Analytical skills regarding technical processes and interrelationships, and the ability to translate them into automation solutions
  • Good English language skills and a strong interest in working in a team

You are also welcome to apply if you are an ambitious early-career professional.

WE CONVINCE

As an innovative, medium-sized and internationally active employer, we offer you a challenging role with plenty of scope for initiative and creativity.

You can expect a team-oriented working environment that provides opportunities to contribute, flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes. In addition, we support your professional and personal development through targeted personnel development measures.

We also offer flexible working time models and attractive additional benefits.
