We are looking for you to build our  in-house development team  and shape our vision. We have a lot of plans and plenty of room for your ideas. With you, we want to redefine the furniture Fullstack Developer E-Commerce (w / m / d) The start is possible immediately & remotely (all over Germany) As a Senior Fullstack Developer at porta Onlineshop, you will work with the team to create excellent solutions to improve the user experience for millions of customers. We want to optimise the engagement of our users and the conversion rate. We’re here to build products that inspire people.

In doing so, you can help to build our (remote) engineering culture right from the start .

We believe that good engineering is extremely important for achieving business goals. That's why we want to put engineering at the heart of everything we do. Our principles help us to achieve a high level of technical excellence and thus create little friction in the development of new functions. Who You are :

  • You have more than five years of professional work experience as a fullstack developer
  • You are an expert in using TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, can design perfect REST interfaces and document them with OpenAPI
  • Your code is readable, maintainable, documented and tested
  • You are familiar with git and live "git-flow"
  • You have first experiences in BDD, E2E, integration and snapshot tests
  • You have first experiences in DevOps - CI / CD with Github Actions)
  • Further knowledge in Java, PHP, Flutter or Go is a plus
  • You act on your own responsibility and decide independently
  • You have experience in agile working methods (Scrum), pair programming and remote work
  • Your communication and problem solving skills are excellent
  • You communicate professionally in English, German language skills are a plus

  • Shared responsibility in the team for concept development, design coordination, implementation, deployment up to to go-live and monitoring
  • You like to impart your knowledge and enjoy accompanying a junior developer on his way
  • Continuous development of our applications
  • Sustainable documentation and proper planning of tasks
  • Co-creation of architecture decisions and selection of technologies as well as questioning of technology decisions made, together with the team and Tech Lead
  • Ensuring a high software standard through code reviews, automated testing and monitoring
  • Actively shaping team processes through regular reviews
  • Active involvement in our product development processes
  • Participation and growth in our development team
  • Independent personal development and interest in the current state of development
