Your role

Symrise is embarking on an exciting digital transformation journey. As part of our corporate strategy, we are building a cutting-edge, in-house Data & Analytics Platform designed to drive innovation and empower decision-making across the organization.

We are seeking a curious and driven Data & Analytics Engineer (m / f / d) to play a key role in developing this greenfield platform. This is your opportunity to make a real impact, working on projects at the intersection of technology and business, including Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Internet-of-Things, Robotic Process Automation, Low Code Platforms, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Web Applications.

In this hands-on, cross-functional role, you will :

• Develop Innovative Data Solutions : Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines, data models, and data assets and products to power business-critical applications.
• Integrate and Harmonize Data : Work with diverse source systems to create unified, high-quality datasets, leveraging and enhancing our existing data assets.
• Shape Data Architecture : Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design scalable and efficient data architectures.
• Collaborate with Experts : Partner with the Digital Transformation & Analytics team, other data engineers, and business domain experts to translate business requirements into impactful solutions.
• Enable Users : Provide training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and documentation to empower business users and ensure smooth platform adoption.
• Ensure Quality : Participate in agile planning, retrospectives, and delivery events, and adhere to best practices like automated testing and version control.
• Resolve Issues : Support technical troubleshooting and incident resolution to maintain seamless operations.
