Senior Back End Developer

We ae currently seeking a Senior Backend Developer reporting to the Tech Lead, and you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing backend services that powers the biomethane platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development tasks
• Design, build, and enhance high-quality backend services and APIs using Python (Flask).
• Architect and manage scalable RESTful APIs to ensure secure and efficient data exchanges.
• Maintain and optimize our PostgreSQL database for reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to seamlessly integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
• DevOps & infrastructure management responsibilities
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications using Azure Cloud Services, including App Service, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Create and manage Docker containers across development, staging, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes.
• Set up and manage systems for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure infrastructure health.
• Work closely with frontend developers, other backend team members, and the UI / UX designer to deliver feature-rich applications.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and interns, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing.
• Participate in SCRUM meetings and work collaboratively using Jira for agile project tracking.
