Your tasks

• Synthesis & Development: Independent execution of demanding chemical syntheses (e.g. in nucleotide and nucleic acid chemistry) as well as the development and optimization of new synthesis routes.
• Analytics & Quality Control: Production, isolation, purification and precise characterization of the manufactured chemical and biochemical molecules.
• Documentation & Presentation: Complete documentation of the experimental procedures as well as the understandable preparation and presentation of the analysis results.
• Interface work: Independent coordination of work packages and active project participation in exchange with internal interfaces and international locations (USA).
• Technology trends: Continuous monitoring of scientific trends through specialist literature and patents, while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.

Your profile

• A successfully completed doctorate in the field of organic chemistry or a comparable scientific discipline.
• Fluent German and English skills (at least C1 level) for smooth communication in global teams.
• Great pleasure in the regular, active collaboration and exchange with colleagues at our US locations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills combined with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent time management skills and strong organizational abilities for structured project execution.
