At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise. We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

We’re looking for talented, digital minds like you to help us create code that moves the world. Together with you, we’ll build outstanding digital experiences and products for all Volkswagen Group brands that will transform mobility. Join us as we shape the future of the car and everyone around it.

The core task fo the department is to set the corporate strategy and ensure its implementation within CARIAD. In particular, this includes steering the transformation program and driving a number of high priority strategic projects.

We are seeking a highly experienced and visioanary leader as Head of Target Management (f / m / d) who will shape the strategic direction of Cariad and act as the primary interface to our key partners for our internal groups. The role provides an opportunity to have deep impact by working closely with senior management across the group and company. Your job will furthermore include the translation of our strategy and transformation program to corporate targets and targets of organizational units.

The ideal candidate will combine strong strategic thinking, excellent business- / partner development skills and the ability to work cross-functionally at experienced levels.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Definition of CARIAD corporate targets and incorporation into corresponding Group processes
Definition of target values for corporate targets and tracking of corporate targets
Managing the derivation of corporate targets and anchoring them in management processes
Managing and further developing the CARIAD transformation program (strategy implementation)
Establishing and securing "management commitment" for transformation and target management
Further development of a team of highly enthusiastic members

WHO YOU ARE

Successfully completed degree, preferred in a technical field with at least 7+ years of professional experience in a top tier consultancy or the strategy department of top tier tech Company

Visionary leadership skillset, mindset and experience

Many years of experience working in cross-functional, agile teams

Strong intercultural skills and knowledge in managing multiple stakeholders

Outstanding analytical competence, strategic thinking and implementation skills

Very strong soft skills and empathy to lead multiple stakeholders through organizational change

Excellent English and German communication skills
