We are looking for a full-time Head of Finance to build and lead our Finance function in close collaboration with our CEO and Co-founder. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of high-impact work across FP&A and strategic finance. Your responsibilities will include forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, financial modeling, and reporting.

As a hybrid company, we value in-person collaboration and expect employees to work from our Munich office 3 days a week.

What You Will Be Building ️

• Develop a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s short-, mid-, and long-term vision. This includes identifying areas of strength and opportunities for further growth, ensuring cash management, and helping raise additional capital as needed
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and developing materials to communicate performance to the board and other leadership
• Partner with others to ensure the company can capture the data for performance measurement, identify unique trends, and mitigate risks
• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This is likely done in collaboration with an external accounting firm
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and venture capital firms
• Prepare board presentations and financial reports
• Manage tax compliance and planning
• Implement robust internal controls and compliance procedures.
