Interim Retail Manager at Capi-Lux

As the Interim Airport Manager at Capi, you are the face of our stores. You oversee our seven stores at Munich Airport and act as the point of contact for head office departments such as purchasing, logistics, and marketing. You build a strong collaboration with the two supervisors who support you in ensuring successful store operations. Together with the store sales team, you achieve sales targets and ensure optimal store presentation. You are responsible for both the quantitative and qualitative staffing of the store team and for achieving maximum sales results. You manage the sales team and ensure compliance with all procedures. Most of your time will be spent actively working on the shop floor, coaching and motivating the team.

Please note : This is a temporary position for a minimum of one year to cover maternity leave.

Qualifications

Who are you

• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking and working.
• You are proficient in both English and German. Do you speak additional languages? Even better!
• You have been registered as a resident in Germany for the past five years.
• You have experience managing large teams (20+ people), including managing team leads.
• You have at least 4 years of experience in retail, for example as a Shop Manager.
• You are a hands-on manager who prefers the shop floor to the office.
• You are creative, bring forward ideas, and are solution-oriented.
• You are capable of constructive collaboration with head office departments such as purchasing, marketing, and logistics.
• You are flexible and available to work Monday through Sunday, and able to reach Munich Airport early in the morning or late at night by bike, car, or public transport. Our stores are open between 06 : 00 and 22 : 00.
• If you’re passionate about electronics yourself, that’s a big plus!
