Job Description

Position : Head of Environmental Technology

Location : Essen, Germany

We are globally active company for engineering services and consulting services with more than 280 years of experience. With 13 engineering and consulting companies at 30 locations and more than 1,100 employees worldwide, We focuses on the markets of plant engineering and process engineering, infrastructure and construction, as well as raw materials and energy.

We are currently looking for a Head of Environmental Technology to join our office in Essen.

As our Head of Environmental Technology you will be resposible for the following :

  • You will assume disciplinary and professional leadership of a team of 10 people.
  • This also includes taking over key accounts and developing new customers.
  • You are responsible for the strategic development of the discipline, taking into account new market developments and trends.
  • You will also manage projects in the areas of demolition, land and groundwater remediation.

Requirements :

  • You have completed a degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geography or comparable.
  • You are distinguished by your expertise in the field of pollutant analysis and remediation, relevant professional experience in the field of demolition, surface or groundwater remediation, experience in all phases of the work and confidence in preparing expert reports.
  • You have initial experience in managing employees / teams.

    • Sales knowledge with an appropriate network, strategic thinking as well as a confident demeanor and service orientation in customer contact round off your profile.
