Safety Health & Environment Manager (f / m / d)

The Safety Health & Environment (SHE) Manager (f / m / d) operatesand maintains thelocalSHE management system and in coordination with site leadership ensures its effective implementation and continuous role advises onlocalSHEstrategy and compliantrisk informeddecisions; partners with site leadership and facilities on ergonomicsfire protection first aidemergency preparedness contractor / visitor safety and sustainability; provides independent assurance through governance audits and performance addition the role oversees office management tasks includingcontractor / vendor oversightsitesecurity and access administrationmaintenance scheduling andbusiness continuity support while fostering a strong safety culture.

You willbe responsible for :

• SHEgovernance & compliance : Review ofexisting proceduraldocuments ( assessments)and lead modification or creation if applicable in accordance with AstraZeneca SHE standards and regulatory requirements;maintainlegal register; deliver annual SHE Improvement Plan; manage record retention.
• Safety training & awareness : Plan and roll outsafetytraining viaAZ training system;supporting onboarding process of new employees (e.g. providing badge building access tools) and conducting initial safety instructions for new employees;lead targeted safety communications.
• Office risk management : Support site leadership in maintaininga safe compliant and resilient workplace byserving as a site-based lead in identifyingSHE hazards assessing risks implementing controls and reviewing effectiveness on a defined cycle.
• SHE events inspections and audits : Facilitate site SHE event (accident / incidents / near miss)reporting; support investigations and root cause analyses; conduct safety walks and ensure CAPA closure; and ensure robust first line assurance / audit program in place.
• Contractor control : Verify qualificationsriskassessmentandmethodstatement and permits; brief service providers on AZSHE expectations; monitor compliance and escalate nonconformances.
• Emergency preparedness : Coordinate evacuation drills;maintainemergency response plans; ensure fire safety arrangements and coverage of wardens / first aiders.
• Occupational health & wellbeing : Coordinate medical checks; manage ergonomic assessments and reasonable adjustments; liaise with occupational physician andworkscouncil.
• Environmental management : Oversee waste segregation / recycling and compliant disposals; support energy / water efficiency and behavioral campaigns; track basic environmental KPIs.
• FM operations oversight : Coordinateexternal facility service providerandmonitordelivery of hard / soft services (HVAC electrical cleaning waste office moves); set priorities; monitor KPIs / SLAs.
• Projects & landlord interface : Coordinate facility projects; manage operational exchange withexternal facility service providerand landlord; interface on lease matters (space obligations alterations reinstatement).
• Budget & procurement : Plan / manageSHE / IFM budget; approve invoices in Coupa; oversee vendor onboarding and POs; ensure cost control and variance tracking.
• Site operations security & change : Coordinate access / CCTV / alarming / external security vendor; ensure preventive maintenance and statutory inspections;retainrecords; assessSHEIFMimpactsof changes and secure approvals.
