Role background
Wolt Market is growing rapidly and we have ambitious goals. We are looking for an analytical Inventory Specialist to optimize our end to end supply chain while maintaining a customercentric philosophy.
As a Wolt Market Inventory Specialist you hold a pivotal position entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the optimal balance of stock levels at our Wolt Markets. This role is integral to our success as it involves close collaboration with store operations category management suppliers and the German Wolt Market management team. The primary objective is to enhance product availability minimize waste and contribute to the overall growth and profitability targets. Furthermore you will be responsible for process improvements across our supplier base. You will focus on identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around Vendor Lead Time Purchase Order confirmations and fulfillment efficient receive process inventory placement and reducing input costs. This role enables you to hit the ground running and make a transformative impact on how we manage Supply Chain in one of the most exciting businesses.
In this critical role you are going to help with redefining our supplier supply chain and to bring collaboration with our suppliers to the next level. You will be involved in all aspects of operational supplier management and supply chain optimization.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership of supply chain efficiencies and play a critical role helping Wolt Market to build manage and optimize a complex procurement system that will continue to evolve and expand. They will produce and analyze weekly metrics and be involved with all aspects of operational supplier management.
What youll be doing
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment based on supply and demand dynamics. This includes preparing and sending purchase orders to suppliers ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Monitor stock levels and adjust purchasing strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding missed deliveries or unavailable items.
- Maintain open communication channels to address supply chain challenges promptly.
- Regularly analyze stock performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize datadriven insights to enhance stock turnover and minimize waste.
- Influence a wide variety of internal stakeholders using effective communication and interpersonal skills to encourage other teams to support priorities and deliver results.
- Produce and analyze weekly metrics and be involved with all aspects of operational vendor management.
- Take proactive actions to address deviations from set targets and improve overall performance.
